BERLIN -- The 海外软件下载商店Franz Josef Strauss airport in Munich resumed operations on Friday, after the German airport was temporarily closed Thursday evening due to drone sightings nearby.

According to local police, several people reported having seen a drone near the airport and later even above the airport ground Thursday evening. Whether one or several drones were sighted and who was responsible remained unclear.

According to Die Zeit newspaper, 32 flights were impacted by the closure Thursday evening, with 17 of them canceled before take-off in Munich and the rest, destined for Munich, were directed to Stuttgart, Vienna and other cities. Around 3,000 passengers were affected by the flight cancellations or diversions.

The runways were closed late in the evening. Police monitored the area and searched for flying objects and suspects, but without success.
